WHO WE ARE
Aarkim have been in the market since 1992 and in this time have formed a reputation for making the seemingly impossible, possible.Plastics fabrication that holds under difficult conditions, point of sale cabinetry, and vacuum forming to wow a brand or space are just some of the mediums we excel in. We are a collective of highly experienced manufacturers who can combine the technical knowledge of using varied materials with real life experience with customers from retail, design, marketing, architecture and other manufacturing disciplines. Designers will come up with the ideas, our job is to make them possible. Not every ambitious idea is possible in the way it was dreamed up, but we will find the most cost-effective and practical way to reach the results you need to achieve – that’s how we make the impossible possible.
PROCESS
From shop-fittings, acrylic fabrication & one-off point-of-sale, to fabricated building signage & vacuum formed logos. We have a clever team of fabricators and manufacturers who can turn your wildest idea into a real product – We make the impossible possible.
We’ll start every project listening to your objectives, design ideas, budget and timeframes. Through this consultation we’ll set expectations and provide you with next steps. When possible we will follow this up with a quote and draft manufacturing schedule. Material availability is a moving target, and through our preferred supplier network we are constantly assessing this status.
We’ll explore suitable materials and draw up your ideas. Whilst the majority of our customers prefer to provide drawings and specifications we also offer a design service. Within this service we’ll explore suitable materials and draw up your ideas to consider sheet sizes, rigidity, aesthetics and fit-for-purpose. All of this is to ensure the most effective manufacturing process is undertaken. Often we’ll begin selecting samples and may start to make prototypes. This is all carried out to communicate in the best way possible, what you can expect for your final product. We may then agree to make scale or full-sized prototypes to prove concept before you invest in the full manufacture. More accurate cost estimates can be achieved at the completion of this stage and we work closely with you to confirm your order.
We select and schedule the manufacture teams that best suit your project. Securing materials is a critical function once the order is confirmed. We select and schedule the manufacture teams that best suit your project. There are often many different steps required in the manufacture of components and this all comes together in the final assembly. Lastly, branding and signage, if applicable, will be applied. Throughout this process we keep you informed of the status of your timeframes and ensure costs are watched closely. This communication is necessary to ensure any changes to your expectations are managed and there are no surprizes.
A final quality assurance process is carried out to confirm your order meets the brief and testing takes place to ensure your order meets our quality standards. Your order is then carefully packed according to your delivery requirements for pick-up, or we deliver if requested.
